I have 2 DNS-323 w/ the latest 1.07 firmware.  I have both of them hooked up into a DLINK router. I have several devices throughout my home that accesses the NAS drives.  I have a PS3, Samsung TV,etc.  All these devices can see the NAS devices but none of them can access PHOTOS, Video or Music.  I can sometimes see the directory structure like MY Documents and can go all the way down to MY Music, etc but then it gives me an error.  I've turned on the UPNP setting and hit refresh, tried to reset the device and nothing is working.  I have a ton of digital content I'd love to stream but no luck.

This happens on both my devices.  I'm suspecting it has to do w/ director structure which is a standard My Docs...My Music, My Pictures etc structure.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

Does the UPnP AV media server refresh successfully?

You should try to reset the DNS-323 to factory default settings and then setting the device up again.
This helped some people on this forum.

It did refresh and said it was sucessful.

As far as a factory reset.  I take it you mean in the main menu under tools, etc.  I believe I have done that several times as well.  The last time was when I upgrade to 1.07.

Thanks again...

Are any of the device wireless?

None.  All are wired at 100 or 1GB

Do you have it set to the root? If so try just the video folder and see if you can access the videos?

I have it setup to My Documents.  I can view my videos on my PS3 but no luck w/ My Photos or My Music.  It's getting really frustrating that I can't view any of digital content on my AV equipment.

Suggestions???  Thanks again.

Can you provide some detail on your folder structure? What happens if you just select the music folder to be monitored by the UPnP AV media server, can you play your music files?
