Bittorrent issue
« on: December 25, 2009, 05:07:19 AM »

I run my dns 323 in raid 1 with 1.08b8

Whenever I start BT (with a limit upload and download speed ), i couldn't go on the internet (even google).

Also, the raid 1 is always degraded ( almost 4 times a week) after the firmware update.

Interesting enough, when the raid 1 is degraded, the bittorrent wont affect the internet anymore.

it seems like I can't have raid 1 and Bittorrent at the same time.

I'm currently running 1.08b8 with RAID-1, and BT is happily working in the background.  No change that I can see to the disk performance or stability.

did you see disk hibernation issue when no torrent (no upload/download) in the list. I see the BT client process using CPU every few minutes and disk never sleeps

I confess I don't know if the disk is hibernating, a BT download has been sitting active all this time.  I'm about to give up on it and cancel it.
