Don't bother.. On this forum a majority of the jerks seem to take the stance "If it was working fine, why did you upgrade in the first place".

Now I know for sure your not in IT...

First off, it doesn't help anyone to tell them they "Shouldn't have upgraded" if they already have. Second, there might be other reasons to upgrade (increased performance and the general idea that later versions of firmware are actually better, like with the professional brands.)

Also, you have provided no solid "proof" that you are "in IT" Defending a frauded company proves nothing. All you ever do is tell people they did "Something wrong".. That proves absolutely nothing.

Also, what all does it matter if I am "in IT" or not? Your record-low karma sort of shows the general opinion of you here.

Your router working doesn't mean you are more skilled than others, it simply means you were lucky enough to get one that works.. You are such a clown.

Some users do have better results with the latest 1.32 firmware.
There's no harm in trying NB firmware as far as I know I'm still on pre-1.3 firmware but I did use a variety of EU and NB ware and had no problems switching back and forward between them.

The 1.32NA version makes it impossible to rollback to lower version.

Be aware !

Another thing.. Apparently the Swedish D-link staff is "not in IT" either... I remember there was a news thing telling people about the upcoming firmware with captcha codes and how they RECOMMENDED people to upgrade as soon as there was an EU version.. But knowing you it's probably "All different" because someone from D-link said it.

@Cobra,

The question was if he could upgrade.
As this is possible my single line was to warn him on the impossible rollback.
Some miss that in the process.

As i cannot say more as i don't know his issues i stick to just my warning.

So i hope my one-liner is helping the requester in a way that he still has options to bring back his router without violating any warranties he might need.

As far as I know 1.30 EU or 1.30 NB (not the chinese or korean version) is the point of no return, not 1.32
so he can roll back from 1.32 NB to 1.30 EU

reading it again i assume now he already upgraded to 1.30 EU.
So he left the 1.21 already. In that case your are right !
