Google and secure websites
« on: June 06, 2011, 07:29:12 AM »

Since i started using my router..i have difficulties accessing google and google services ( search, gmail, market, youtube..etc) i will have to refresh many times and by chance it will load. This also applies to sitew using secure login!! and it also have trouble loading full images. On social websites it will just load the page and comments without the image.!
Irrespective of browsers ( firefox, IE and chrome), devices ( android devices and symbian), i get those problems and it slows my web experience.

My dns settings blank or set to google dns either do not solve my problem.
Everything worked fine before the router was installed.

Firmware - 2.05NA

Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual?
I recommend using ISP DNS first to test.

Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option.
Turn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.
Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router.
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP.

These are what I use on mine using 2.03NA

Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing.
Turn off all devices accept for one wired PC while testing.
