I'm not a networking expert at all, but thought that I should be able to figure out how to get my old Lexmark E210 working with the DIR-628 on a Vista OS. After a huge amount time I realized that my Firewall was the problem, and was able to get Shareport to at least see my Canon and Lexmark from both a Mac and a Vista PC. Now the issue is to get the Vista PC to work with the Lexmark.
Anyone out there that can help me with this?
I think it will involve trying to install the printer to an IP address. The trouble is that Lexmark doesn't have a Vista driver for the E210, so I'm trying to use the Samsung drivers without any luck. Not sure if I'm configuring things correctly...Please help!
