Every since I updated my Vista Ultimate to SP2 and cannot get Shareport 1.14 to open.  Running firmware 1.21.  It's stuck in the task bar.  I can even see the Vista graphic preview, but it's stuck minimized. 

I tried everything to maximize it so that I can select the printer.  Run taskmanager, etc.  Shut off windows firewall, shut off Nod32 antivirus.  Not running dual monitor mode so it's not popping up in a different screen.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.  I tried upgrading to firmware 1.32, shareport program worked, but as with most people running 1.32 shareport connection requires multiple reboot.  Ended up exchanging modem to get back to 1.21 firmware.   

Happened on both my laptops running Vista Ultimate SP2.

Anyone can help?

This happens to me periodically under Vista SP2 and Server 2008 R2. Check your registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\D-Link\SharePort Network USB Utility for two keys: MainForm Top and MainForm Left. They're probably set to something stupidly high, like 2997 and 768, which causes the window to appear waaaaaaaaaaay off-screen. Close SharePort and change both of those values to 100. When you re-open SharePort, the window will be in the upper lefthand corner of your desktop.

WHY that happens, who knows. It's pretty much a random occurrance for me.

Thanks a lot for this great hint. I was very confused about the missig of the SharePort window on one of my Win7 PC and tried a lot of things.
Then I found your hint and tested it ... it is great, the window is back
