Rebooting on its own
« on: January 07, 2010, 06:06:24 PM »

My dgl 4500 has for some reason stated rebooting on its own.  It will not do this every day but will do it almost every day.  When it starts rebooting it will keep rebooting about every 2 min.  After about 10 or 15 min it will stop rebooting and work fine.

I do not know how to tell it its a router issue or something connected to it.

Im using FW: 1.21NA,  2009/11/23
HW ver: A1

Are you running default settings or have you done any configurations or just default settings? I presume that the reboot is the entire unit and not just wired or wireless? This is beta 08 and I did notice alot of random wireless disconnect on my A1 hw. Wired was good and stable. Since ur on Beta 08, I would suggest going to Beta 03 1.21NA,  2009/09/18 and try it and see if it does the same thing. I'm also on Beta 03 since I was getting tired of the wireless disconnects. Beta 03 is working well here. Let us know.

I have the default settings.

The router is rebooting and both wired and wireless both go down.  This was happening before going to beta 08.  I upgraded beta 08 but will try and find beta 03 and see what happens.
