Help required in understanding if these are good choices
« on: January 08, 2010, 01:33:00 AM »

1. I have a DIR-655N router that i have been using over a year with no issues at all, but what i recently tried to do was to be able to stream media using this router after i purchased the DHP-303 kit, i live in a 2 storey house and found that the AV powerline kit is unable to scale more than 10-15 ft around the house.

2. I have invested some more money into the DAP-1522 bridge and unsure whether this is going to resolve the issue and in haste now decided to try the DIR-825 router as well and see if that combo works.

a. do i need the avkit even after i get the bridge to be able to get better connectivity in the other bedrooms.

b. also can someone suggest some configuration tips or share any configuration info if they have been able to successfully setup a D-LINK combo suite of products, i need to get the Dish receiver VIP722 to be able use the broadband and also have a PS3 that i plan to use to be able to stream HD media around the house.

Any suggestions is appreciated, an earlier thread for some issues using the DHP-303 kit have not yet yielded any reults.
