Hi Lycan

Thankyou for letting us know  :o

We're working on firmware for the 855, 825_A, 655 and 4500.

When they're ready I'll release them and not before.

-Lycan.

"I disabled the Karma system because it was useless. It was being spammed by people to try and prove a point.

Fact is this IS a private board. It's here for users to help users with USING the product.

Thank you for the update finally.
Lycan. You must understand that frustration arises when users come to get help and are met with silence from the staff, and "you are defect, not your router", by people who claim to be "In IT". There is nothing wrong with being a costumer who likes D-link, but when you're taking it to the point where you try to sweep users with issues with their products under the carpet, showing a "Move along, nothing to see here!"-attitude, you are taking it too far and people will be annoyed and upset and the whole forum will get infected. In my opinion, "Nonsense product praise" is as bad as "Product slander". We all know the 655 has some issues. By some people's reasoning here there wouldn't be any need to work on new firmware if that wasn't the case, because "If everything is working fine, don't upgrade".. That is of course nonsense but you know, some people are like that.

Anyway, can you tell us anything about the new firmware then? Is it a pure bugfix release or does it add new features?

Communicating with the forum members is a great step forward.. I hope to see more of that.

Regards

Ozzed.
