DNS Routing and Forwarding
« on: January 17, 2010, 06:54:35 PM »

The issue is somewhat complicated for me to explain.

I have DSL. Connected to my DSL is my actiontec DSL Modem / gateway / wireless router.

Attached to this device is my Windows Home Server.

Now i am using the DAP-1522 to wirelessly connect to the Actiontec.

Attached to my DAP-1522 is my xbox 360.

Now the issue is that when my xbox 360 addresses the Windows Home server it is returned the DSL IP instead of the Windows home Server IP.

I also have a machine plugged into the Actiontec that can access the router via Name properly. And another one attached to the DAP that can't.

Any suggestions?

Cancel this. Turns out it's my actiontec. The other machine that worked had local hosts settings.
