Having same problem between XBOX 360 wireless adapter and DLINK DIR-825 Ver, B1 with firmware 2.02NA not connecting wirelessly with XBOX.  This is the reason I purchased this router.  I am currently using my laptop as a wireless bridge to connect with XBOX LIVE and can't take it any more.   This D-Link crap is going back and I'm switching to Linksys!

Same problem here with B1 2.02NA and XBOX 360 Microsoft adapter not talking.   Oh, and don't bother with the Linksys.  I just took one back because every 2 or 3 days it stopped working.  Apparently it requires frequent cold booting.  Hopefully D-Link will fix this soon but who knows.  Most wireless manufacturers seem to be in a race to produce the crappiest products they can.  Right now I am just using my old belkin wireless router as an access point for the XBox and my other devices are using my new DIR-825.

One funny thing, with all the money and aggravation on wireless, I could probably get an electrician to run Cat5E to my upstairs rooms and go full gigabit with NO HASSLES!  Now that I mention it, that's actually starting to sound like a good idea.

spent past 2 and a half hours bouncing between microsoft and Dlink customer support, and I was finally getting transferred to the higher up senior technician when my call got dropped.  Same problem, DIR 825 not connecting with my official microsoft adapter.  Bought a DAW 160, and Dlink technical support doesn't know enough about Xboxes to help me.  Told me to put the installation software into the 360 and run it >.<  I think They're going to try to transfer me to the senior technician now.  I did check on Xbox's website, and it said the DIR 825 was compatible with XBL, and every router on that list was said to have been tested. 

I do agree that simply running some wire through the floor would be simpler.

OK, so i bought this DWA 160 earlier, which clearly says on the box it works with gaming consoles.  So i get to the technician lady on the customer support, and she tells me to undo a few things the lower level technician told me to do, still not working.  She puts me on hold for a while, says there's not really anything else that can be done, and I remind her i have the DWA 160.  She puts me on hold to look up some info, and tells me it doesn't work with 360s.  She recommends using the Microsoft official adapter because it won't have compatability issues.  Fail.  I'm thinking that cable in the floor is looking pretty nice right now, since COX does my phone, internet, and TV, and i could probably just splice the wire thats in the wall for the TV.  Save me $70 for the adapter and 3 and half hours on customer support.  Probably could have finished it by now.

Just updated my 825 with the beta and connected my 360 with no problems. Thank you!
