DWA-131 Not finding my wireless "N" signal

ETA: I read the '300Mbps Connection Requirements! Please Read!' sticky.  The only thing I couldn't find in my modem/router was #3.  Where is that?

Running Windows 7 32 and 64 bit on different computers.
Router/Modem combo is NetGear DGND3300 and broadcasts in both G and N.
HP Laptop Win 7 64 bit, 4G RAM.

My DWA-131 will find and run perfectly on the G band but when I scan for networks, it doesn't list my "N" signal at all.  Yet my gaming consoles run off of the "N" signal just fine.

Any suggestions?  I did all the software/driver updates.
