615-rev C and Win7 Homegroup
« on: January 26, 2010, 05:44:03 PM »

I have the dir-615 rev c with latest firmware. My desktop and laptop both running win 7. On desktop I have created a homegroup. The only way I can join the homegroup on my laptop is if I am hard wired to the Dir-615. As soon as I go wireless I can no longer access the homegroup. All my network card drivers are up to date. The desktop runs 64bit win7 while the laptop runs 32bit win7. All other wireless functions work fine including internet. I've researched some of windows forums and I DID find others with the exact problem but no solutions were posted, so I'm trying it from this angle to see if anyone else has hit this issue. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Check under advanced wireless and see if WLAN Partition is checked, uncheck it if it is.
Let us know if this setting is working. What this setting does is prevent wireless clients
from seeing each other.
