Hello all,
I've just received my DCS-5220 & DCS-70 yesterday in order to monitor several exterior spots around my house (may need a second one later on if I'm happy with this one).
Here is the network part related to the cam:
Camera : DCS-5220
Primary router/modem : Netgear DG834 (ADSL2+)
Spare router/modem : Dlink DSL-G604T (ADSL)
Server : Ubuntu 8.04 Server Edition with Samba/Proftp/ssh servers available.
Before buying the 5220, I thought I've seen it was WPA2 compliant ... But I've only been able to configure WPA.
I thought as well a SMB and/or NFS client was available to save videos and snapshots, but I've only been able to configure FTP.
Did I miss something ? My firmware is too old (it's 1.05) ?
Thanks in advance !
Extra question : Is it possible to enable an ssh/telnet access to the 5220 ? I'd rather use CLI to configure/manage the CAM instead of the HTTP GUI.
Regards.
