Drive failure email indicates wrong drive
« on: May 10, 2010, 06:53:11 PM »

Running v1.08, I had a HDD fail. It is in the right slot (according to the status page) but the email message that gets sent out indicates the left HDD had failed. Anyone else see this? The drive is in the right hand slot when looking at the unit from the front so I assume the email is incorrect and the status page is correct.

That is supposed to be the RH drive as viewed from the front.  Note that the DNS-321 has them reversed, a fact that I learned the hard way. :D

What about the LED on the unit?

Everything (status page, LED etc) indicates the right (viewed from the front) HDD has failed except the email message which says the left HDD has failed.
