If the DIR-825, dream that it is, qualifies for "platinum" status then I can only imagine the double-digit purchasing-power my future D-Link Platinum Credit Card, should the company make some lateral strides into the business of financial buggery.  Until then, kudos to D-Link for mastering the technological screw business.  I now get the irony the brand name: De-Link.
