Problem with installing my "D-Link Rangerbooster G USB 2.0 Adapter"

I'm not sure if this is the right section because my model number is "WUA 2340" but I didn't see that anywhere on the forum. I recently had my computer reformatted and am now having problems reinstalling the adapter. I lost my CD so I had to use the driver they provide online but it won't let me finish installing the software. It just gives me an error and terminates the setup. I actually had the same problem the first time I installed it but I ended up fixing it..I'm just not sure how I did it. Any help would be appreciated!
