I have just loaded Win 7 Professional and trying to sync up the DSM750 (firmware 1.02) with the Windows Media Center.  After entering the eight digit sync code, Windows states "The Device certificate on your extender is invalid.  Please contact the extender manufacturer..."
 Any suggestions?

Did it work OK previously in Vista?

No!  This hunk of excrement hasn't ever been able to sync up with windows.  I skipped Vista and went from XP to Win7.  It also plays most video files like they were encoded at 15 frames per second...i.e  jumpy and glitchy.  I usually have good luck with D-Link hardware, but this is an incredible exception.  I have had the device for two years and never have been able to use it to view any media content that didn't look like it was purchased from a street vendor in Hong Kong.  I have used Nero Recode to try every iteration of codec and it has never been able to play anything properly regardless of streaming via 802.11, wired Ethernet or file copied directly to USB.
If you have any ideas, I would appreciate it before I throw this into the garbage and buy a streaming device from just about any other vendor.  I'm sure anything costing $20 or more will do a better job.
