Where to see my connection speed?
« on: February 16, 2010, 07:12:07 PM »

There is a sticky at the top of this forum that explains how to get 300 Mbps.

I have been using the dlink web based utility and looking under wireless status to see my connection speed. Is this the correct place to look?

Under this section it is only showing 78 Mbps...., but I can't find any other place that shows a connection speed.

Using Mac Book w/ Snow Leopard. Router is in mixed n/g mode with auto 20/40. WPA 2 security.

It has the latest firmware....

Is this using 2.4 or 5Ghz. Seems to me like you are connecting on 2.4Ghz. Hold down the alt key and click on the airport icon. It will show you more info. Give your 5Ghz network a different Essid then force it to connect to that.
