USB 3G connection
« on: March 03, 2010, 10:07:09 AM »

I have seen references stating that the USB port should have three choices under setup - Shareport, 3G, WCN.

The only ones visible on my router are the Shareport and WCN.

Would like to connect a 3G Sprint Sierra Wireless USB598 modem as a backup or additional net connection, but cannot figure out how to do it.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dir 655 A4 1.33NA Win XP Pro. on static ip cable connection.

That option has been out of the NA firmware for quite a while now.  I believe it is only available to those who use a Non-NA version of the firmware.

if you can find the hacked firmware to allow downgrading and you are comfortable with it, then downgrade to 1.22 and you shall have it.
