DIR-825 and CLX 3175FW
« on: March 03, 2010, 05:39:24 PM »

I just buy a wireless printer SAMSUNG CLX-3175FW

I can install the printer properly and get it to work easily , but for some reason after few minutes I lost the connection with the printer , can't print anymore.

I have to power off the printer and power it ON and it's back online ( wireless ) for few more minute.

I have stop my screen saver

When I go in the router panel in status screen I see the MAC address for the printer but there no IP assign
So I have assign and IP for the printer in the SETUP >> NETWORK SETTING ( Add DHCP Reservation )

I have windows 7 32 bit
software and driver update for the printer

is there anyway to force a connection to a wireless device from the router?

Or maybe one of you have this issue before ..

thank you

I have the same enable box check as your .

I will try to force port forwarding and virtual server to that port as well

In the TCP/IP screen do you have   Dynamic DNS Registration : enable?

so far after 5 minutes the printer still online that the longest time I have get it work wireless ...
I have not change anything on my printer setting just virtual server public and private port open for the port # of the printer setting

I keep you in touch

thank you
