DNS-320 with pre-formated filesystem
« on: January 04, 2011, 12:13:14 PM »

Hi there

unsure if this is the right place, I recently bought a DNS-320 which i would like to plug in two HD 1TB and 0.5TB. both have data on them.
Will I be able to access the data w/o re-formatting the drives?

Thanks

Basically, no.

You would need to let the NAS partition and format the drives in the native Linux filesystem (EXT2/3). Then you can copy your data to the NAS.
