Note: I know it looks really long and boring, but I really need help. I used different formatting and colours so that it won't be monotonous for you guys. Please help me out with this.

Okay, here goes. I'll try to put in as many details i can. If any more details are needed please let me know.   


The wireless network at home is set up using a D-Link DSL-2640U Wireless router. This is in the center of the house, and is connected directly through a telephone cable to the line. There is no splitter being used, nor is there any other telephone being used on this line. The WLAN and DSL connection work fine throughout the house, except for a large part at one end.  This router (the above mentioned D-Link DSL-2640U) is cabled to one desktop and every other device (mobile phones, gaming consoles, laptops) accesses the network through the WLAN from the wireless router mentioned above.

So, at the 'Wifi-less' end of the house I set up a DWL-2100 AP Wireless Access Point and connected it through an ethernet cable to a DSL-2540T ADSL 2+ Router.

The reason I had to do this was because the Wireless Access Point has only one LAN Cable port, and the ADSL 2+ Router does not support WLAN. So I figured "If I connect these two, I can use the WLAN on the router and access the internet"

Now, heres the problem:

I need to use the Wireless Access Point (DWL-2100 AP) in such a way that the signals from my working Wireless Router to the Wireless Access Point, and that Access Point to transmit the same signal around the "Wifi-less area". The ADSL Router has a port for a telephone cable, but I do not have a telephone line in that room, so I need the Wireless Access Point to transmit the ADSL to its partnered 'cable-connected' Router. The thing is, I don't know how to do this. I'm sure it can be done, but I don't know how.

Please D-Link technicians and Networking geniuses give me a method which is easy and will work.
  I'm totally clueless.

You need to draw out the layout of your network, with all relevant data: DHCP servers, subnets used etc
Also, draw the wanted situation.

I can probably help you, but I will not do so if I need to solve some puzzles from your text. Please PM the layout drawings.

You're network is a mess, to begin with. Sorry.
