Some BitTorrent questions
« on: March 20, 2010, 01:00:20 AM »

I try to find out what BitTorrent client is installed on the DNS-323. Does anyone know this? Is scheduling supported in the latest version (I only want to upload during the night).

Thanks,
Anton

So, not many answers here ;-)

I upgraded to 1.08 today. The BitTorrent client is still very (too) basic for me. Why isn't there something like Transmission on it. I know I can do this with a funplug, but I don't want to mess with this machine...

Exactly the reason I picked up a second DNS323 last week. It actually took less than your quoted time since all I had to do was copy the files from my first unit to the second including the configuration file :)

Thanks,
I installed the funplug and transmission. Works great! I just don't get it why Dlink implements such a crappy Torrent client when they can also use transmission. Not everybody is willing to install apps by themselve!

Nevertheless, I'm happy!
