I purchased a DCS-5300 to do some testing to see if it would work well for the company I work for.  We're looking at purchasing 20-30 of these and the one thing stopping us right now is the character limit on the FTP username.

Under Advanced, Network, there's options for FTP snapshot uploads.
For some odd reason there's a character limit on the FTP username that can be used by the camera.

Can someone tell me what needs to be done to get around this?
