Stability of beta firmware vs. 1.12
« on: May 04, 2010, 05:20:30 PM »

I have a dir-330. about one a month, it seems to disconnect from its adjacent dsl modem running in bridge mode. This has happened to 2 different modems (both siemens / efficient networks 4100 /5100 respectively.) The last time this happened, i could ping both the local and gateway ip addresses, which made me think it was a modem issue. I know the rep of these siemens are not stellar... Now with another modem and the same symptoms, I am not so sure. So...Any diagnostic ideas?? Is the Beta firmware more stable than the 1.12 firmware? (BTW...Mtu is 1492 with max idle time of 5 minutes)...

Thanks

Try the beta, I have no issues with it to the best of my knowledge.
