My review of Firmware 2.03NA
« on: May 02, 2010, 09:36:59 AM »

I wanted to write a review on how 2.03NA has been treating me.

My most important requirement of this new firmware has been plug and play.

To start using the new firmware I held the reset button for 30 seconds until the power light started to blink, and used the firmware bootloader. I did not use the firmware upgrade through the web interface. I also did not do the 30-30-30.

Going back to my requirement of the firmware being plug and play I have only set up the wifi, and the time.
I also used win7 to set up the router (when I plugged the router in, my computer stated that the router had not been set up and would I like to set it up now, worked pretty well). And that's it. I'm hoping that I wont have to disable any of the router features to keep it working. I will keep you updated, please feel free to reply with what you've done and your current experiences with 2.03NA.

So far I have had no issues. The wireless it working well, no hiccups, and speeds haven't been an issue (at least with internet). I have not had a chance to transfer a large file over gigabit.

Post your results and thoughts! And any tweaks you are currently using!

I'm still getting disconnects on my Outlook connections so I went back to my DIR-655 for now.
