DIR-825 wireless works for 10 seconds and then stops

I boght the D-Link because the reputation is so good. The router has worked for about 4 months perfectly. Her e recently using the Xbox 360's on live has resulted in horrible lag and time outs. I at first thought it was cable company. No one else has the same problem. Then my son came to me with his inability to connect with laptop via wireless. Discovered the wireless connectivity light was off. Rebooted router. Wireless light came back on for all of ~10 seconds. Repeated at least 10 times with same response. I upgraded firmware to 1.13 on my H1 router. Still same issues. Also lag has not stopped on XBox Live. Speed tests show hick ups as do facebook glitches.

Is there anything I can do? Or do I need to get a new router?
