Having issues with large files and Mac OS 10.6.3
« on: May 03, 2010, 11:18:54 AM »

I have a brand new 321 with 2 1.5TB drives.  I have upgraded the firmware to 1.03.  Whenever I try to copy a large (over 4GB) file from my mac to the 321 It gives me an error. and will not complete the copy.  I thought EXT2/3 did not have issues with large files.  Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?  Oh, it is formatted RAID 1 (mirrored) if it matters.

Thanks.

So here is some more information.  I can move large files from windows (XP) to the 321 with no problem.  I just moved a 4.5GB and 8.0GB file and they both copy.  But when I try from my Mac, I can not copy anything larger than 4GB.  The mac drive is HFS+ Journaled and the XP drive is NTFS.  Hope this info helps.  I really need this to work with my mac.  If It won't then I need to find another solution.  Thanks again.
