DIR-625 and LG KM900 (Arena)
« on: October 12, 2009, 12:48:27 AM »

My phone, the Arena, cannot connect to the Internet through the router no matter what configurations I use. It connects to the router fine, but when I try to use the Internet browser, nothing ever loads. I have even tried this with Opera, another browser.

I tried different wireless security modes as well, from none to WPA2. When I use no security, the Arena loads one page if I go to the browser immediately, and then stops loading any page after that. The phone's wifi does work on other networks, and I'm currently using the mixed b/g/n mode.

Hardware Version: C2
Firmware Version: 3.08
MAC Filtering OFF

Any ideas as to why it doesn't work? It appears another person had a similar problem with their arena and the 655.

I know this is an old post, but never mind.....

I have the exact same problem with my KM900, only my router is the DIR-615, firmware version 2.23. Like the topic-starter, I can connect to other wireless networks (and browse the internet). My wife's Nokia N-95 works fine on the D-Link.

I guess the bottom line is that there is a compatibility problem with the LG Arena, which is actually really annoying.

Advice on firmware versions that has sorted this problem is very much appreciated. I have read somewhere that updating to version 4.11 does not solve the problem..

Sorry to say that I've given up on solving this issue.. and the Arena itself. lol!
That thing is just troubles bundled into one neat little package.

Good luck with yours though!
