Connecting laptop to internet wirelessly
« on: May 19, 2010, 11:00:14 PM »

I am having trouble connecting my dad's laptop to my Wireless DIR-615 router.  It will get on the wireless network fine but it will not connect to the internet using wireless.  I am not sure what I need to try to connect his laptop and I can't think of anything else to try.  My laptop and my brothers laptop work fine.  His laptop is a Sony Vaio windows vista 32-bit.  If anyone could help me that would be great.  Thank you.

Hard wire the lan connection the first time to the router. Than connect to it wirelessly when the lan is still plugged in. Should be a one time deal to get the old pig Vista going.
