DIR-855 dead?
« on: May 31, 2008, 01:28:07 PM »

There have been no firmware upgrades.  I'm still using mine, but I gave up on streaming hidef TV between my mediacenter PC and my mediacenter extender.  To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement.  It really feels like d-link has abandoned the 855.  Am I wrong?

There was a manufacturering error made with the initial launch. We are planning a relaunch soon.

No. May be D-Linkshop. But D-Link is the manufacturer, the product will get sold through distribution.

yeah it would be nice to see D-link take care of the people who have put up some serious cash for a hobbled router.
