revisiting an old problem
« on: May 29, 2010, 01:36:29 PM »

I am having similar problems to the one here http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=8352.0

My root folders and sub-folders are listed but the contents of the sub-folders is not listed. For example:
\\Cline_Media\Misc_Programs is present and the sub-folder \Linux is there too but the contents \Linux\Debian is not.

I can take the drive out and place it in an external drive enclosure and everything is o.k. Nothing has changed in months with my setup so I have not idea what has caused the disappearance of folders and files. As it is right now, I cannot use the unit and am forced to use the external drive enclosure. So far, I have to say that the DNS-321 is a lost investment for me as it has NOT performed at all with any consistency.

Blessings,
