« on: May 31, 2010, 08:27:45 AM »

I have windows 7 and i logged onto my router with admin/admin i went to the tools page and tried to change my password but it will not let me save. Ive clicked on the save several times and it wont save. my internet explorer keeps popping up the bar that says click here to run windows blah blah blah. so i click and click run then IE restarts and the whole problem happens again. I can not secure my internet. How can i fix this problem

Have you tried another browser? Or the 32-bit version of IE? Sounds very specific to the browser used...

If your W7 is 64-bit there should be (in the "All Programs" section) and option to run the 32-bit version of IE. Some stuff in the 64-bit version of IE is not that cleanly implemented (like for instance flash player), so it does not hurt to go 'native'. You could also try another web-browser (like Firefox, Opera, Chrome) to see if the problem is solved using that browser.

Personally I do not like IE...
