Tree of the DNS-323 with the PS3
« on: May 30, 2010, 04:09:06 PM »

How can I change the tree visible from my PS3 to decrease.

Instead of seeing: Video> Folders> mnt> HD_a2> Series> Dexter> Season 4

I want to see: Video> Series> Dexter> Season 4

Create a share that points to the folder in question.

If I understand, if I share the Films folder instead of root I should cut down my tree?

but I have several folders to share, at the base of the disc (Films, Series, Pictures, Music), but I might as well move them to a new Media directory...   ???

That way I would see more Video> Folders> mnt> HD_a2> Series>

but Video> Folders> Series>  :-\

I'll try it tonight, thank's for your help. ;)

I don't know why I could not turn more shares.

If you organize the disk properly, you should be able to have one share encompass all the folders.
