I'm on Bright House cable.

I tracked it down to the DST setting.

All I did was turn off DST and manually set the time.

Now, I only have to reboot the router (power off, power on) once every few months.

I have seen this solution on another few threads here... It seems to happen on a few routers, all solutions of turning off DST. And even the hardware and firmware-versions seem to have influence on wheyher it is happening.

I have heard rumours, that 1.34NA seems to no longer have the issue... Are you on the latest and greatest?

Your post was very helpful to the OP and probably solved their problem.

You bought a new router so why don't you stop trolling threads in this forum.

Hey Cobra, your comment was even less helpful.  I am more disappointed that D-Link hasn't said anything "official" in this forum for months.

Do you mean the Daylight Savings option???  I have been fighting this for months and am damn glad I found this thread, but how frustrating that it would be something so simple.

I turned off my Daylight Savings option and hope that it is what ends the daily disconnection.  My ISP will be happy too as they have been trying to troubleshoot too. :)

Yes the Daylight Savings option.

I actually defaulted router.
Set up for 300 Mps.
Turned off Daylight Savings option.
Set time manually (used my computer time).

And it seems to work, most of the time now.

 I hope this helps.

I have a similar problem as my router will disconnect from the internet but i am still able to see the router and connect to the router setup page. I can connect my pc directly to the modem and the internet works fine, but connecting it back to router internet access is gone. Powering down my router and/or modem does not fix problem.

Using firmware 1.34

I am having this exact problem, and have been for a while now. I've turned off the DST and hope that bypasses the issue. Thanks!

As am I... We'll see if the DST option fixes the problem
