scheduled automatic downloading of a file
« on: July 22, 2010, 07:23:38 AM »

Hi,

I have a file that I would like to download at a certain time every weekday. Can this be done? Do I need to install an app for this?

Here's an example:

Download this file: http://abscbn-dl.streamguys1.com/OnDemand/teleserye/magkaribal/20100721_magkaribal.wmd at around 3PM EST from Monday to Friday
Note that the date on the filename will change to reflect the current date.

I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!

Sounds like someone would have to write a custom program or script to do this, it's certainly not a capability that the NAS has with standard firmware.
