DWA-130C not being detected properly by Windows 7
« on: July 25, 2010, 07:36:54 AM »

I've a DWA-130C and have just got a computer with Windows 7. I found a driver that says it's compatible with Windows 7, but when the installer gets to the screen where it's asking to insert the adapter, it doesn't seem to register that the adapter's inserted.

Notes:

In the hardware section, it registers as something "unspecified". It just doesn't seem to be registered by the installer.

When I plug in the adapter, it gives me a different sound than when I plug in something functional (like a USB). More like a bububu, instead of a buDAM (I can only hope that helps).

So, I'm at a loss.

Thanks,
Andrei
