3rd part UPnP AV server - DNS323
« on: May 29, 2010, 07:35:11 AM »

Hi, I've installed TwonkyMedia Server on my DNS-323 but I'm not totally satisfied... I'd like to know if anyone else tried some other UPnP AV server. I'm using my NAS with a Viera Panasonic TV supporting DLNA.

Thx

Hello, Why have you installed Twonky Media on your 323? the firmware 1.0.7 already has a UPnP media server included, right?

I have a Viera 37 inches, I have two servers, one on my mac (EyeConnect) and the DNS-323.
The EyeConnect is working fine with my Viera, so there is no problem on the TV set side.
But when I try to access the DNS-323 I can see a folder structure (not created by me) as VIDEO, MUSIC, PHOTOS.. but When I try to select any of this I have a error accessing the server.

Do I need to upgrade the DNS-323 firmware?
There is something to configure?
Anyone using this configurarion?

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Jordi,
I've the same issue (TX-P50G20) and I didn't find a solution. Maybe Mattooo can help us.
What I underdstand is if you use a different media server (as Twonky Media) it's works; but i'm not able to install this software on my NAS.
I tried also to send e-mail at Panasonic, but nobody reply me....
Now that we are in two, maybe we can find a solution ....
