Could be, but it also could just be a coincidence too. you kind of need to be doing the test at the exact same moment, with both laptops in the same place to tell. And even then..you can still get different results. Your better off testing what Furry says. Get on that floor and run a test, then get in the same room, then try a wired connection, and if still bad, bypass the router all together. Also, what internet plan do you pay for? I would just google it..but Insight blocks anyone from their sales page but Insight Customers...which is just silly. Also, their broadband speedtest crashed all three browsers I tried it in. Hopefully your not using it for your tests or I bet thats your problem right there.
