the cable box (time warner wireless) keeps popping up every time i type 192.168.0.1

when the twc guy replaced the old box he gave me a wireless box and i think he disabled it's wireless so'z i could stay with my 655.

except now i want to get in and change my channel and i can't. i don't know what he did. did he assign a different 192.168.0.X? i don't know and i've tried .0 > .9

can anyone suggest a way to get into the dlink?

You will need to attach your computer directly to the 655 and have no connections running from the cable box to the 655. You then should be able to get to the 655 and change the IP address on it. YOu may have to do a factory Reset to get the 655 back to 192.168.0.1 , then you can go through and do the IP change so you know what it is running on.

thx... I only want to change the channel#. btw,,,,would I have to change anything on my 1360 or will it change automatically

It should autmatically adjust itself to the 655 settings.
