Win 7 can not find DLINK 8C4C37

Just installed DNS-321.  Windows 7 Home Premium on 2 computers connected thru hard wired router.  Network is set up for "workgroup"  D-Link Easy Search remains blank.  windows network places lists item DLINK 8c4C37 but when I click on the icon message "Windows can not access DLINK 8C4C37"  clicking on diagnose message "Windows can not find DLINK 8C4C37"  further trouble shooting message "Windows can't find computer or device"
