Subject says it all.

Also does the DIR-628 have the option to act as an AP too?

First, DIR-628 does not have a AP mode setting.  Officially, it is a router.  However, by leaving the WAN port empty, you can almost set up it as an AP.

Securesport is still a pain unless you are successfully in install a firmware that does not have Securespot in it.  The latest firmware is supposed to not have Securespot but a lot of other people are having trouble to install it.
