DCS-5300 VapgDecoder
« on: January 30, 2011, 11:45:49 AM »

It has been a while since I used my DCS-5300.  Yesterday I connected to my computer and updated the firmware and it worked fine.  Today I went to access it and it asked to download the VapgDecoder.  I have seen the other message about active x controls before but I do not remember this one.  It apparently will not load without it.  Is this common and safe to use?  I saw some info about stack overflow problems with it.  Thanks.  Garner

Hey Garner, that active-x control is the only way I can view my cam on a Windows computer web browser (namely IE... sigh)  :(

I have partial access using a website called "cam-viewer.com" using my webOS phone.
