I have had a DIR-615 Rev B2 Wireless router for many months.
During that time, I have had two computers sucessfully and flawlessly, hard wired to the router.

I recently hooked in the third desktop that I have not had operating for many months and I can't get Internet access through the router.
After hooking up system #3, I powered everything down then back up again, one component at a time and got LAN recognition on the two original systems with IP addresses beginning 192... but not the new one with an IP address begining 165...
All I got was "limited or no connection" error messages and no connection to any of the other systems on the LAN.
When I accessed the router logs, I have a router log reading of;
Access denied to LAN system with MAC address 00E01......6 (that's the new systems address).

I then manualy went into system #3 and reconfigured the IP Address to a new address begining 192... and falling within the range the router was asigning, between the two already recognized IP's.
The result was an immediate 10/100 reading notice and system #3 can now get access and see through the router to the various other systems behind the router but the router is still "denieing access" to the internet side with a log reading of;
Access denied to LAN system with MAC address 00E01......6.

Having reconfigured system #3 to an acceptable IP address, how do I configure the router to allow access for this MAC address?

Sounds like you have Mac filtering on. Either turn it off or add the mac of computer three to the table. Also, any particular reason your using static IP instead of using DHCP in your LAN? I mean its not wrong, just curious of your reasoning.

Interesting solution.
I went into MF and discovered Comp #3 was not there though Comp #1 & #2 were as well as other addresses.
I added Comp #3 and the Comp imedietly "discovered" other items on the network. The Router.
However. While the router itself is now visible to Comp #3 (where earlier it was not, only the other two Comps through it), I still have no Internet access.

LOGS now read...
"Allowed configuration authentication by IP address (Comp #3 address)"
But still cannot access Internet.
I can however, now access the router from Comp #3, just can't get through it.

Comp #3 Diagnostic:

Actually I'm not.
I have DHCP Client as my connection type.

Issue was resolved and connectivity established when I went into the "properties" for the modem, then "Internet Protocol TCP/IP" properties General tab and changed the IP settings back to the Obtain IPS Automaticly and Obtain DNS server... Automaticly.

I had originally altered them to manual in order to alter the ips on the comp.
