Can you be more specific. I also can copy large amounts of data without failure, for instance, from a external hard drive I had about 100gb's worth of exe's and documents, photos, videos etc. Its whenever I try to run a backup I come back 2 hours later or so and it says lost connection to the network drive etc. It will maybe get 25gb out of 100gb worth done before it fails. I read that many users that have this dns-321 also experience the same issue. I made sure the drives do not hibernate nor go idle for a very long time. This happens with multiple backup programs, not just microsoft backup. This could be certain files being backed up that cannot be copied causing it to fail, but what leads me not to believe this is that the error says that the network drive lost connection. Its possible that my dlink gamers lounge router drops the connection, but i looked in the router logs and do not see anything. Im curious if I have to set anything differently on the router. All my devices are dhcp reserved.
