DP300U print server ?
« on: October 05, 2010, 10:11:33 PM »

I have a DP 300 U print server that I've used for a long time with a couple of different home networks.  However, I just recently changed service providers.  ATT's standard IP addresses are 192.168.1.xxx rather than 192.168.0.xxx.   When I try to set up the print server and find it at 192.168.0.10 it can't find it.  Any suggestions on how I get it set up?  I also tried 192.168.1.10 and can't find it that way either.  THANKS

Set print server to get IP by DHCP
If print server supports it, print out network settings.
it should say the IP its was assigned...

or, look in you routers configuration pages for the IP the print server got, at at least the range the router gives out the IP then start pinging the DHCP range IPs until you find the printer

You need to make all the device have IP addresses in the same subnet.

Reset the print server to factory defaults and follow the original installation instructions.
