Problems with dir 655 wireless and Thomson router.

Hey.
I'm having trouble getting my wireless to work with my dir 655 and my Thomson Speedtouch 546i router. Wired works fine but I can't seem to connect through wireless. Half the time I get a blue screen and my laptop reboots.
I've tried switching advanced security on and off, changed from mixed to g and n only and lastly g only. Nothing seems to work and I'm getting a bit frustrated. I'm guessing it's something to do with the router and I've tried setting the DNS server in my dir 655 to my routers IP.  
Anybody got any ideas?

edit: forgot to add that I've been browsing around here for simliar problems but so far no luck. Will continue to search will I wait for someone here though.

if you are getting a blue screen or your laptop restarts when you try to use wireless the problem is probably with the laptop itself.

I would try to update the wireless driver for your laptop and see if that helps.

I have managed to use the wireless at a friends house who have the same router, but I'll try that, thanks!

Ok, I tried updating but no change... Also tried switching to b only but that didn't help either...

Seems I managed to solve this one. Downgraded my firmware from version 1.31eu to version 1.21eu and set it to mixed 802.11n and 802.11g. Looks like it's running ok...
