DIR 655 and DIR 625
« on: December 18, 2011, 04:37:07 AM »

Hi
I have a Dir 625. I was wondering is there any advantages buying a Dir 655
I did buy a Dir 825 but I had major problems With my internet. My unit I use for internet locked up every 2 days and had to phone my provider to reboot my unit. I hooked up my Dir 625 and had no more problems.
thanks
Ron

If your dir-625 works fine with you, don't bother to get the dir-655.  The dir-655 new version has nothing but trouble.  You don't gain any benefit to replace your dir-625 for the dir-655.

Actually all the 655 rev b1 router works well as the dir-825 as i have both. Lets offer to do some trouble shooting before we comdem that there is anything prematurely wong with any of these routers. Alot of problems can be placed in the configuration of routers or w ISP sevices.

Can you give us some info on the 825? Post over on the 825 forum. What hw version is it? What firware is curently loaded? If your having problem w the 625, please visit the 625 forum and will try and help you out for either product.

Im sure we can find a solution.
