Streaming issues, can you help please?

I'm having some real problems with streaming of all sorts recently. i tend to get a lot of buffering and my PC/Roku/PS3/360 also seem to buffer a lot of video. I've run test after test on my connection and everything seems perfectly fine with it, which leads me to believe that something is mis-configured with the 655. I'm hardly router savvy so I'd like to see if some of you have some advice for me as far as settings go.

Here is my information.





Everything in the house is Wireless "G" and the router is set to "G" only. The XBOX 360 is connected via ethernet and is not wi-fi.

Did video streaming work before using Wifi G mode?? Hard to believe.

Define "work before"? I've been using the router since April and have had this pop up from time to time, but now that I am doing more streaming, it's becoming a bit of a pain. Also, as I said, the 360 is connected via cat-5 so I think this is less a wi-fi issue and more a router setting issue.

How are you connected to the Internet? Are you limited to the amount of data coming into you, via your ISProvider?

Disconnect/disable/turn off everything in the house but your 360.  Check streaming.  Now go through and turn on one device at a time, checking streaming as you go.  Might find one of your other devices is chatty.

There's also a desktop widget to let you see what your up/down speeds are.  It's not completely accurate but it CAN be helpful when you've got something leeching your bandwidth.
